Chevy Luxury Prerunner
Okay Chevy lovers, the wait is over! Raceworks has finally added a Chevrolet to our line of Luxury Prerunners. Although fundamentally the same as the Ford version with our pristine billet aluminum upper a-arms, cad drawn and watercut suspension, and Kartek uprights and hubs; the vigorous Motec Fuel Injected, 600HP Chevy engine with Wet Sump Oil System built by Jim Horn sets this one apart. The custom Wally World paint job over the intricate fiberglass body by Prototype Concepts is the icing on the cake for this John Harrah commissioned Prerunner.
Of course it's loaded with the usual interior amenities and meticulous craftsmanship Raceworks is known for. Like dual A/C, enormous GPS, satellite phone, front and rear DVR camera systems, and power windows, locks and seats. But the vibrant Nordskog digital dash is a welcome change to the standard mechanical gauges. And the MP3/IPOD/Stereo System along with the dual race radios and intercom are piped into an exceptional set of Bose Aviation headphones. Underneath the hand-stitched leather upholstery, the cab is Rhino lined and Dynomated for maximum insulation and sound deadening.
Other features include a built-in battery charging system for storage with automatic release cord, and a two position ignition system for different fuel grades. The light bar with Hella H.I.D. lights flips down for protection when not in use and the lights are adjustable, all with the touch of a button from the convenience of the cockpit. Craftsman jack with Raceworks Quick Release Mount and locking quick-release spare tire mount make changing tires a snap.
